Lufkin is a little more than two hours away from our home. Our grandson had been raising his voice loudly about Lufkin and I researched the area to find educational fun for the three of us.

We wanted to do something different during our visit to Portland, Oregon, since we have visited the city about twenty times: two grandchildren and their parents live there. We’ve seen most of the popular tourist sites. Tourists flock to Portland, especially to see Multnomah Falls, which is a fabulous waterfall thirty miles from the city.
